When I started doing Pilates with Olga I wanted to get stronger and learn more about the Pilates equipment I saw in the studio. My form was questionable while performing several (ok, many) of the exercises and I wanted to do the movements properly to get the most out of each session.
I've worked with several Pilates instructors and I've found I like the methods and structure that Olga uses for her sessions.
I truly value Olga's ability to break down any exercise into its most basic parts to ensure you are doing every part correctly to get the full benefit of the movement. She is able to tie mat workouts to Reformer, arc, chair or tower.
While I was sometimes frustrated that I couldn't do what I "thought" I should be able to do, I can see my improved strength and flexibility when I do other activities, like play basketball, tennis or run.
I am so grateful for the patient, creative, inclusive instruction Olga provides. She is absolutely amazing and I feel lucky to learn Pilates from such a dedicated student of the true Pilates method.

I am turning 60 this year and, thanks to the work with Olga, I look and feel better than I did at 40!
I’ve been taking Pilates group classes regularly for seven years. I had a lot of asymmetries in my body (mainly due to a hip injury 4 years ago), my hip flexors had become really tight, and I reached a plateau in working on certain exercises. I was “getting a good workout” but not addressing the individual needs of my body.
I had to avoid a lot of exercises because they exacerbated my hip injury and modify others that were challenging for me.
When I started working with Olga, we used a lot of props to assist my body into the right position. There was a lot of hands on adjustments. This was uncomfortable for me at first, but I was able to feel what “the right position” was like. Feeling it is a lot better than seeing it or hearing it described to you.
Being able to work on multiple pieces of equipment according to what my body needed was not only more fun but allowed me to zero in on my specific issues. I also like the privacy of Olga’s in-home studio. I feel more relaxed and comfortable which makes a huge difference in the work I can do with my body.
With Olga as a private trainer I stopped imitating exercises and starting feeling it in my own body.
I’ve been able to achieve way more than I expected. I understand why I’ve been having difficulties with some exercises and have been able to work specifically on them. I can do Open Leg Rocker and Neck Pull now! I have A LOT more confidence and I have virtually eliminated the discomfort and limitations from my hip injury. This has been a hard time to feel like one is moving forward on ANYTHING, so it has been a great mental boost for me to be able to really make daily and weekly progress on something.
